Talk Title: Building Virtual Machine Labs: A Hands-On Guide – Lessons Learned
Speaker: Tony Robinson
About the Talk: Building a practice IT/Infosec lab is always a tall order, especially for newcomers to the craft of IT or Infosec in general. You could find various scattered sources all over the place on the interwebs, but really, nothing truly definitive. It was my goal to change this, and make it easier for newbies and veterans alike to build VM labs more easily with multiple functions in mind. Back in June, I published a book on building virtual machine labs. Come listen to me talk about why I wrote the book, what purpose it is supposed to serve, and terrible secrets learned along the way.
About the Speaker: Tony Robinson was born and raised in Detroit, and currently resides in or around the Chesterfield area. Tony is currently employed as a Senior Security analyst for a midwestern MSSP. He is always eager to mentor and share his knowledge with others. But when he is not cybering, he is usually playing video games, or doing the needful demanded of him elsewhere.
